Get up to a $200 Tax credit from the Government
Note: Tax credits that were 30% up to $1,500 expired on December 31, 2010. New tax credits* were passed, but at lower levels. The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 extended the tax credits for two years until December 31, 2013.
The Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 modifies and
extends federal tax credits for eligible building components that improve
energy efficiency. To be eligible,
windows must have both a U-Factor equal to or less than 0.30 and a Solar Heat
Gain Coefficient (SHGC) equal to or less than .030.
How to qualify for the Tax Credit*
The window must have
both a U-Factor and SHGC of 0.30 or lower.
To qualify for the tax credit the products have to be EnergyStar® qualified.

does not include installation costs. Be
sure to ask for a sales receipt that shows the cost of the product only.
