At Superior, we understand that energy efficiency is of the utmost importance. That's why we are dedicated to making our windows as thermally efficient as possible. From the materials we use to the glass we offer and our dedication as an Energy Star Partner, we have your best interests in mind when it comes to energy efficiency.
The premium vinyl used in our windows is an excellent insulator. It's thermal properties are far superior to aluminum, steel or stainless steel. Energy-efficient windows can make your home more comfortable all year long.
DURA SEAL™ spacer is the standard spacer used in all Superior vinyl windows selected for its excellent thermal efficiency.
DURA SEAL™ is a cost effective system offering superior thermal efficiency. DURA SEAL™l insulates the frame and edge of glass up to 90% better than aluminum spacer bar and 50% better than Intercept® spacer system.
DURA SEAL™ takes optimum advantage of laminates and adhesives to reduce thermal conductivity while improving surface and corner appearance over other insulating glass spacers. This multi-layered spacer system featuring specialized components results in superior window performance and aesthetics over other warm edge spacers. Test results performed by a third party validate the superior thermal performance benefits of Duraseal when compared to other spacers.
Superior vinyl windows go beyond using ordinary low-e glass and have set as a new standard Cardinal

The space inside an insulating glass unit--between the glass panes--is filled with Argon gas, an odorless, non-toxic gas that is six times denser than air. This acts as an added barrier for a higher level of efficiency. Argon gas is a standard feature with all Superior Vinyl windows.
